Served as a mediator in numerous "excessive force" and medical negligence civil rights cases involving local governments; in many wrongful discharge cases covering a panoply of employment law issues; and in a variety of real estate and construction disputes, some of which have also involved environmental issues.
Civil rights mediations have included excessive use of force, medical negligence, racial and religious discrimination and the like. Real estate mediations have included fair housing and environmental issues as well as purchase/sale contracts and landlord/tenant disputes. Wrongful discharge mediations have included a broad spectrum of employment disputes.
I try to provide a dignified, amicable and affordable process that honors the empowerment and control that the parties and their counsel seek.
