Significant issues in mediations included primary liability, contributory negligence, respondent superior, insurance coverage, employment discrimination, medical, dental and legal malpractice breach of standard of care, breach of fiduciary duty, and the amount of damages necessary to settle the case. Claim sizes ranged from $10,000 to millions of dollars. Primary issues in class action will be level of damage and amount of compensation. Mediated disputes between siblings over trust administration and relatives involving business disputes.
Mediation is based upon self-determination of the parties to reach a voluntary agreement. Skilled in the facilitative and evaluative forms of mediation. Committed to maintain neutrality and to conduct an impartial process.
