Mediated residential property insurance disputes between homeowners and insurance carriers arising from property and casualty claims.
Disputes concerning amount of loss/damage and coverage issues in property insurance cases.
Having successfully resolved numerous disputes through mediation and informal settlement negotiations, and others through trial and dispositive motion practice, I am a firm believer in the cost effectiveness and other positive benefits of alternative dispute resolution. To that end, I recently decided to devote my practice to serving as a mediator, arbitrator, project neutral, settlement counsel, and alternative dispute resolution speaker and trainer.

I believe that the role of a mediator is to facilitate discussions between the parties designed to achieve a mutually agreeable resolution to the pending dispute. My approach is to help the parties focus on their interests (as opposed to their perceived legal posture) and figure out how to achieve them in a mutually agreeable manner.
