While working at the New York County Supreme Court, developed the R.A.I.S.E. method which allows parties to change their mindset from adversarial to advocative by recognizing their feelings, actively listening, and acknowledging their adversary’s position. By actively listening and acknowledging what the opposing side is stating, parties can adapt their mindset to a collaborative mindset, empowering parties to investigate issues and gain insight into their own goals and interests. When parties understand their own goals and interests, they can set strategies, find solutions, and settle.
Familiar with various online platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) and willing to conduct mediations in-person, virtually, or hybrid formats.
